Swim in the Flux of Art
About the Art Auction
FGT operates its art auctions by sending and confirming invitations to various art factions. Currently, the invitations to participate in the "fluxus" art auction are over fourty models, five designers, three makeup/body artists, fourty-eight fine artists (paintings and prints), three food vendors, three bands, two DJs, one classical dance group, one skating crew, and one technology team.
The FGT artists will confirm participants and position them within the gallery for your enjoyment. The confirmed invitations will provide people who will attend to create flux. For instance, during the Family Fuse, the models are positioned at a "fluxus station" within the Jane Kennedy Gallery and rotated through "gaming stations" while interacting with the actual people that attend our events. In short, our event will probably have thirty to fourty-eight artworks, 16+ artists, sticky embellishment games, red foods, green foods, blue foods, dancing costume models (optional), auction tables, registration tables. And remember, a portion of any ticket sales or art purchases during silient art auctions will be donated to The Family Place on behalf of Medical City Dallas during their Community Fundraising campaign.
See You There.
About The Forgotten Greats Artists
In the spirit of many past artists' groups, The Forgotten Greats Artists, or FGT, begin about three years ago with a single mission - to develop and sale the perfect "archival, hand-touched, limited-edition prints" by "forgotten great", local artists. For FGT, the term "Forgotten" simply suggest that our artists' talents and perspectives beget more recognition from the public lest their talents be forgotten.
During the first years, FGT worked on the technologies
to sale and manage art online, to write about art,
and to create affordable, collectible artworks.
Since those first years, FGT continues to evolve with (1) over 28 artists, (2) a custom-built, online e-magazine and e-commerce tool for the arts, and (3) a unique "fluxus way" to integrate hangable artworks, fashion models, music, food, and technology into unique events such as The Family Fuse Art Auction.
